The team at Creations Hair and Beauty love to give a little bit back to the community so when the Chichester Down’s Syndrome Support Group contacted the team to ask if there would be any way of helping they jumped at the chance!
The group was started in 1987 to provide support for families of children with Down’s Syndrome, and now has around 50 families in the local group with children ranging from 5 to over 25.
The evening was hosted by the Creations team with a group of 10 girls eager to be treated like little princesses. A menu was presented to them which they could then choose a range of mini treatments in hair or beauty. Then the group headed off to Pizza Express for dinner.
Emma Shepherd, events and community manager at Creations said: “we do a great deal of fundraising for lots of different charities, this was by far one of the most rewarding, the girls were loving the pampering and felt a million dollars when they left”
Creations Hair and Beauty have always been more than just a hair cut, with all the charity and community work they do, raising in excess of £28,000 in the last year, always seeking to be a little bit different!
