It’s been a very charitable week!

As a business we have always been a charitable bunch, with a total so far (since 2010) raising a huge sum of £60,000! Some of the charities we have been involved with in the past have been Sage House, A Dementia Support Hub based in Tangmere. The My New Hair Service, with stylists specially trained in supporting people with hair loss, and our local hospice such as Rowans in Waterlooville and St Wilfrids Hospice in Chichester.

Specific fundraising events such as The Hearts and Diamonds Ball, which Creations has hosted for the last 6 years, the last one being on the 23rd February 2019, a glitzy Hollywood Glamour ball with the attendance of over 100 people raising £7,000 for Rowans Hospice.

Alongside all the fundraising, we also support charities and individuals wanting to make a difference, so when Deborah Halsey contacted Creations Hair Salon in Chichester to see if we could apply our skills and shave her hair in aid of St Wilfrids DREAMBUILDING project, we jumped at the chance.

A very nervous Deborah came in to see our stylist Carli Nicholas, and Carli put her at ease straight away.

Deborah said: “The moment I looked into the mirror I was in utter amazement and I could not be any happier to have all of the special people in my life around me.
Deborah has set herself a target of £1,500 to help the team at St Wilfrids build their new dream hospice. For more information please visit dreambuilding.everydayhero.com/uk/deborah-halsey
