A Specialist, Supportive Approach
Led by Gary Ashcroft, this service is built on experience, compassion, and truly personalised care. With over 20 years in hairdressing and more than 15 years supporting women before, during, and after hair loss, Gary brings both technical expertise and genuine understanding to every appointment.
His experience includes working alongside Trevor Sorbie and contributing to the My New Hair programme, as well as supporting patients and carers at St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Rowans Hospice.
As this service continues to grow, our wider team at Creations shares the same passion for helping clients feel supported, understood, and confident again.
Your Hair Regrowth Journey
First Appointment
Your first visit is all about understanding you and your hair. This extended appointment allows time for care, reassurance, and a clear plan moving forward.
During this appointment, we will:
- Carry out an in-depth consultation
- Offer personalised product and home care advice
- Provide a gentle shampoo and tailored cut
- Apply a nourishing scalp treatment to support healthy regrowth
Follow-Up Appointments
You will then be invited back for two follow-up appointments, spaced 8–10 weeks apart.
These appointments focus on:
- Ongoing reshaping as your hair grows and changes
- Continued advice and support tailored to your journey
- Adjusting your routine as your confidence builds
Long-Term Plan
By your fourth visit, your hair may be ready to transition back to a more regular salon routine.
At this stage:
- Appointments return to standard cutting prices
- Gary will either continue your journey with you or introduce you to a stylist best suited to your evolving hair
Colour After Hair Loss
We take a gentle and considered approach to colour following hair loss.
- Colour services are usually considered around 6 months after treatment completion
- All colour work is carried out with professional approval
- We use semi-permanent colours or ammonia-free lighteners to protect delicate new hair
Your hair’s health will always come first, ensuring any colour enhances rather than compromises your regrowth.
