I want natural highlights:
If like many you would like to give your hair a little lift this summer but want to look natural my golden rules are to go 2 to 4 times lighter than your base colour. A warm blonde with a lighter blonde every now and then give a truly gorgeous sun-kissed look. For a soft result these should be placed in small ‘weaves’ around the parting and hair line fading into finer hi lights set back from the root towards the back of the head.
How can I stop roots showing?
The lighter your colour the stronger the regrowth. It’s for this reason we introduced Colour Fix30 and Colour FixPlus. Redken introduced a violet (removes yellow tones) and golden (adds warm tones) conditioner earlier this year to enable you to treat your colour at home. Each week you change the dial to release more pigment to tone your hair. Your stylist can go through this with you.
