Lottie’s top 5 tips on de-frizzing your hair

With the winter approaching us, I know from personal experience that this is the worst time of year for thick dry frizzy locks! With a constant dampness in the air, central heating has just cranked up, and more heat styling to try and not look like something from the hair bear bunch!

So I asked one of our upcoming stylists, Lottie, to help me get that ‘electrified frizzy’ look under control, these were her top tips.

Keep your regular hair cuts up

Make sure you trim your hair at least every 3 months, this will prevent damage and breakage and get rid of those nasty little split ends

Try and Keratin Treatment

At Creations, one of our specialist services is the Kerastraight Treatment. This is more of a longer terms solution for frizzy hair. Kerastraight is a gentle treatment to give you the sleek locks you desire.

Use a good quality rich conditioner

One we would highly recommend is the Argan Shampoo from Milkshake. A Sulfate Free Shampoo gently cleansing with Argan Oil and Silk and Rice proteins to nourish and eliminate the frizz

Use a Microfiber Towel for your hair

Making a fabric choice is really important, cotton towels can create friction, so by using mircrofiber, especially when the hair is wet and at its most vulnerable, will help the frizz
