The cost of Balayage is more than an average colour, so if you would rather budget for your hair, stick with highlights. The process of Balayage is time consuming, so again, if time is against you, it may not be the right service for you. But it only requires a follow up appointment every 12 weeks or so.
Let’s get technical.
Balayage allows for a sun-kissed, natural looking hair colour, with softer, less noticeable re-growth. The principal idea being less is more when creating a natural, multi-tonal finish. The technique uses patches of light and shade to create multiple dimensions to the colour. In short it allows you to look brighter with less noticeable roots and maintenance. Whereas Highlights will give you a regrowth quicker, but with the Fast Colour Fix service, you can top up your highlight retouch anytime.
We advise clients having the service to perhaps have a gloss or toner after 8-12 weeks to keep the hair looking fresh and healthy. With many clients only having the service twice a year this is by far the most cost effective colour you can have.
