Top trends for Autumn 2022
The past couple of years have been about the No Fuss haircuts and effortless looks. The Lob (long bob) is set to continue to be this year’s most desired cut with a wavy and textures finish. Heading into winter 2022 the look has stepped up a gear with fringes (blunt most popular) and heavy layered hair.
The low effort look does however take some work. We are not often blessed with naturally perfectly waved hair and certainly not with ‘get up and go hair’. To achieve the wavy Lob Look some gentle styling is required. Taking large sections and twisting as you slide down the styler will make a soft unpolished wave – PERFECTION!
So what’s the top colour trend? One word (yes, another hairdressing term) BRONDE. Loosely translated this is a mix of brown/blonde or dark blond and light brown to create autumn tones in the hair.
The steely/platinum tones are becoming less of a trend, and this is likely to be due to the cost of upkeep and cost of living we currently face. So on the opposite end of the colour spectrum we have the rich Mocha and Copper warmth that is the perfect colour for those winter Lob looks.
