National Apprentice Week 9th-13th March 2015

We are very excited to celebrate with our trainers at The Chichester Hair Academy our first National Apprentice Week!
Carolyn started Creations with a deep-routed belief in apprenticeships and that the best way to educate is to learn it, do it then teach it and then become an expert.
“Our apprentice scheme has created a huge team of experts for the salon. We truly are experts in hair and beauty which makes me incredibly proud” – Carolyn Sweeney (Salon Owner)
So much so in fact that over the last 16 Years Carolyn has trained over 100 apprentices and employed most of them as stylists. Some have gone on to run successful salons and businesses of their own.
“sometimes people join the team at a crossroads and not always knowing where they want to go in life. I have always tried to support staff who want to learn extra skills and I will support anyone who wishes to learn new things”
I can vouch for this as Creations has supported me in learning about web design and social media and continues to support me with my own business along with my career at Creations.
Last year The Chichester Hair Academy was formed to bring a high standard of apprenticeships in hair and beauty to West Sussex. Along with the team at Creations the Academy is responsible for the apprenticeships of other leading salons in the area and adult education.
“I love the idea of National Apprentice week and this is the time of year school leavers will be considering their options. Working with Creations and other salons in the area is a real buzz and the feeling of seeing your students qualify is amazing!” – Jo Barker, Academy Manager.
