As we approach Christmas I just wanted to share some of the massive successes we as a team have achieved this year and let you into our plans for 2015!
I will start, naturally, by thanking the team for all the hard work and amazing achievements during our 16th year as a business. I am so very proud of them and the difference they make on a daily basis not only in the salon but also in the community and indeed in Africa!
Earlier in the year the team undertook a week of extensive colour training with Redken with the entire team becoming Redken Colour Experts, learning new techniques, brushing up on knowledge and gaining confidence in advanced colouring. We now have 14 EXPERTS in colour!
Our gorgeous beauty girls began to offer The Microdermabrasion Facial, which has now become their number 1 service – go girls! And Creations Barbers has grown massively over the last 12 months thanks to the hard working girls (Charlie’s angels).
This wasn’t enough for all the team though, many have gone on to become experts in Hair Extensions, Straightening Systems and work with My New Hair training as a hair loss and wig service which this year has helped over 100 women. This has also lead onto the team working with Macmillan, Rowans Hospice and St Wilfrid’s Hospice and many events to raise money for sufferers of cancer in the community. Some of our team also worked with Stonepillow to cut hair for homeless people within the Chichester area.
We also helped at Taste! Festival this year and worked with a new company, The Custom Confectionery Company in Chichester who developed the Creations Chocolate Bar – YUM! Profits from which helped the CoCo’s foundation and St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Then came the very small task of raising money to take 6 of the team to Africa… A Task which ended up with us raising £26.000!!!!!
Our Hearts and Diamonds Ball in Feb, rowing The Channel, rowing in the town centre, jumping from planes, baking, walking and family days to name but a few contributed along with our fantastic clients helped us exceed our £13.000 target! – Thank You.

Your support enabled us to feed 300 children daily for the coming year, build two houses, 3 community allotments and set up an after school club not to mention the impact this trip had on the lives of Emma, Trevor, Gary, Claire, Holly, Sophie, Elliot and Claire.
So what’s happening in 2015?
We will be launching a number of exciting new services, The Sparkle Blow Dry, new beauty services and educating the team with another 6 days intensive training with Redken and GHD. We will continue to grow Wigs at Creations and work with local hospices and MacMillan. And we are heading back!! Creations in Africa 2015.
A chance for us to go back and continue work in the communities the team met this year, develop the projects and most importantly grow our relationships with the families we met.
Thank you all for a fantastic 2014.
Have a great Christmas,
Creations xx
