So Kim has this week changed her hair from brunette to blonde in one day! (or has she) During a highly publicised visit to Paris fashion week the ultimate attention seeker and husband Kanye shocked many with their outfits but it was of course Kim who grabbed ALL headlines by gradually changing the colour of her hair throughout the week.
Many of you may be considering a drastic change yourself but let me give you a few words of advice. Firstly, will your scalp cope? A process like this includes having not just one but several ‘bleach baths’ (salon talk for lifting colour with bleach) in this case up to 4! The hair would then be toned and treated. In fact in one image we see her leave her hotel with her treatments visibly in her hair!
You next need to consider a cut. Kim has gone from long locks to shoulder length. A very drastic cut that has removed any risk of colour build up and allows the process to work on the newest and better conditioned hair.
Not keen on roots? A full head blonde will see roots within a couple of weeks! And for a crisp white look will need to have a regular toner so cost is also important. Possibly why many choose to have lots of highlights.
