Not one to ever leave the boys out, this week we look at the trends in male grooming for 2015. I’m sure you have all noticed the huge growth in men’s facial hair from designer stubble to the handle bar mustache! Sorry girls but your men are going to have the bristles for a while longer!
Here are a few easy to achieve looks for men for Summer 2015.
The Topknot
Call it a man bun, a mun, a topknot, whatever – if you’ve got hair (and lots of it), scrape it into an artfully dishevelled mess at the back and you’ll be hitting all the right style notes for spring. It’s not so much about the precision undercut and tightly wound topknot this season, so grow your style out and hang it in a loose bun, held together with spray wax for a ‘relaxed’ look.
The Pompadour
The pompadour hairstyle is going nowhere. It conquered the world in 2014 and will continue to do so as we head into summer 2015. The key difference this year, however, is that the skin fade at the back and sides is more extreme than ever, which helps make the top section look more exploded and cartoonish. Wear yours with plenty of hairspray to achieve new levels of quiff height. (men get your rollers out)
The High and Tight
The buzzcut has undergone something of a revival this month, thanks to a certain Mr Reynolds. And keeping your style mega short on the sides and tightly cropped on the top, like his, makes for a cool, low-maintenance look when the weather warms up. Whether you’ve got a beard or are clean-shaven, the high and tight style is super sharp, and is a great look for any man with a slim face and strong features.
